Velocity's research site in Albuquerque was founded in 2017 as the fourth site of MedPharmics and acquired by Velocity in 2022. Since its inception, the site has conducted trials in Infectious Diseases and Women?s Health, including over 15 vaccine trials. Coro Lux (?Chorus of Light?) is an auditioned community chorus, based in Albuquerque and founded in the fall of 2015. Under Artistic Director Bradley Ellingboe, the chorus has grown into one of the top choruses in New Mexico. Coro Lux consists of the larger Oratorio Society and the smaller Chamber Chorus. The Oratorio Society, with 60 members, presents major choral works, usually with orchestra and often in conjunction with the New Mexico Philharmonic. The Chamber Chorus is an ensemble of 16 members that presents a variety of smaller works in various locations around Albuquerque. Each ensemble presents about three programs each season.
Coro Lux Chamber Chorus
Coro Lux has participated in music events far from Albuquerque, including a Carnegie Hall concert in 2016 and the Great American Choral Series festival in Florence, Italy, in the summer of 2018. In 2017 Coro Lux became the Ensemble in Residence at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Albuquerque. As such, our rehearsals and many of our performances are held there. We are proud to be associated with the oldest Lutheran congregation in the state of New Mexico, founded in 1891, and long a leader in worship and the arts in our community. In 2019 we began a regular and ongoing partnership with the United Church of Santa Fe, thus making regular appearances in the state capital.

Martin Quintana was born in Pecos, New Mexico, and graduated from high school in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in languages and a Master Degree in guidance and counseling. Martin Quintana served in the US Navy in the enlisted ranks. He was commissioned in the US Air Force and served fourteen honorable years and rose to the rank of Major with the Air Force. EXPO New Mexico is the state's only true multi-use entertainment and events facility, which in addition to being the site of the annual New Mexico State Fair, hosts hundreds of events throughout the year. In 1629, 140 years before the first Missions of California were established and planted, a Franciscan friar named GarcÃa de Zúñiga and a CapuchÃn monk named Antonio de Arteaga planted the first European wine grapes in what is now the U.S. at a pueblo in the Rio Grande Valley of the Province of New Mexico.
Viticulture took hold in the valley, and by the year 1880 the New Mexico territory was the fifth largest wine producer in America. The cuttings brought to the new world by missionaries from Spain were of a Vitis Vinifera grape variety known as Listán Prieto, or the present-day Mission grape. This variety has been continuously grown and is still harvested in New Mexico today.

LDC operates a transmix plant at Exit 131 on Interstate 40. Transmix is a mix of gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel created during the transportation of such fuels through a shared pipeline. The process for separating transmix is a distillation process. The transmix plant operates 24 hours a day and produces approximately 50,000 gallons per day. All gasoline and diesel that is produced at the transmix plant is retailed through the LDC Travel Centers and Convenience Stores.
