Coro Lux (?Chorus of Light?) is an auditioned community chorus, based in Albuquerque and founded in the fall of 2015. Under Artistic Director Bradley Ellingboe, the chorus has grown into one of the top choruses in New Mexico. Coro Lux consists of the larger Oratorio Society and the smaller Chamber Chorus. The Oratorio Society, with 60 members, presents major choral works, usually with orchestra and often in conjunction with the New Mexico Philharmonic. The Chamber Chorus is an ensemble of 16 members that presents a variety of smaller works in various locations around Albuquerque. Each ensemble presents about three programs each season.

Coro Lux has participated in music events far from Albuquerque, including a Carnegie Hall concert in 2016 and the Great American Choral Series festival in Florence, Italy, in the summer of 2018. In 2017 Coro Lux became the Ensemble in Residence at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Albuquerque. As such, our rehearsals and many of our performances are held there. We are proud to be associated with the oldest Lutheran congregation in the state of New Mexico, founded in 1891, and long a leader in worship and the arts in our community. In 2019 we began a regular and ongoing partnership with the United Church of Santa Fe, thus making regular appearances in the state capital.

We offer in-house free and confidential HIV testing and syringe exchange, and have mental health counselors and massage therapists who volunteer their services. We partner with community health care organizations to connect participants to primary care and maintain a provider directory of trans-friendly health care providers.
Basic Needs
Our Drop-In Center has a shower room, open donation closet, computer lab, and lending library. We stock a food pantry, provide lunch during drop in hours, and work with participants on access to fresh foods and SNAP benefits. Learn more about our Food Access efforts.
Case Navigation & Referrals

The hills near and far along the Sandia Mountain Range were populated with Ponderosa pines as far as the eye could see, with railway lines being built throughout the mountainside to transport the heavy loads of timber to what now is known as the Sawmill District.
After decades of logging, land wars, and urban growth, the Sawmill area of Albuquerque was put out of business in the late 1980s and remained largely empty. In 1996 the Sawmill Community Land Trust was formed and set its intentions to clean up the ecological damage from the sawmills that had occurred over the past century.
After many years of environmental restoration and rebuilding, the SCLT succeeded in revitalizing the area, bringing new life back to this once vibrant area bordering Old Town.With the help of the SCLT, Ponderosa Brewing Company was able to build our brewery right in the heart of the Sawmill District at an important time in its revitalization.
Ponderosa Brewing Company was born September 2nd, 2014 with a lot of help from local businesses, local breweries, friends, and family.
We welcome you to relax and feel at home here at Ponderosa. Whether sitting on our large patio, enjoying conversation at the bar, watching the game, or having an intimate dinner in one of our cozy booths, Ponderosa has something for everyone.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, CLNkids helps lift children and families out of homelessness by combining high-quality early childhood education with proven support programs for parents. Utilizing trauma-informed practices, CLNkids continues to prove that, together, we can break the cycle of homelessness. To continue our mission, we rely on both public and private support through donations, advocacy and volunteerism. We do what we do because of your support. Your money goes toward the supplies, food and facilities we need to help families and children in need, including school supplies, meals and transportation.
