New Mexico Childcare & Education Association
P.O. Box 53400

The New Mexico Child Care and Education Association (NMCCEA) was created to lobby in the early 1990’s by founding board member Kyle Smith.
Times have changed, but the overall mission statement still remains the same: The NMCCEA is, and always will be, the unified voice of child care centers in state legislation across New Mexico.
The NMCCEA is a non-profit 501(c)-6 organization. Board members are all strictly volunteer and operating for the benefit of the child care industry in the state.
The Organization is sustained and functions through a membership system and the dues that are associated with it.
After nine (9) years of HSD reimbursement rates staying the same, the NMCCEA fought for and won an increase in funding for childcare businesses in New Mexico.
To facilitate the change that child care centers in this state are striving for, the NMCCEA has a membership system. NMCCEA membership dues are used to fight for our needs in state government through lobbying. In return, NMCCEA members receive greatly discounted rates for online training, access to professional development such as our conference type training’s, current news regarding childcare in state politics, and an invitation to monthly directors luncheons to keep involved, up to date, and network with other directors.
By becoming a member of the NMCCEA, you are supporting the entire child care industry and joining the longest standing child care association in the state. You are gaining access to greatly reduced prices for the 45-hour course, 16-hour continuing education course, and the National Administrator Credential course (NAC) for yourself and employees.
