Education leaders, please join us at the beautiful Bosque Retreat Center for an inspirational and restorative three-day retreat. Each spring, the Sofia Center for Professional Development at Bosque School brings together education leaders from public, independent, and charter schools, pre-K through university level, along with education leaders working beyond schools, for three days of inquiry, rejuvenation, and strategy focused on leading with intention and passion. What is Wild Leadership? The Wild Leadership Retreat began in 2015 as an exploration of what it means to lead with courage and wisdom, defining wild as going being conventional expectations and doing so with passion. Over the last five years, the Sofia Center has developed a set of eight Wild Leadership principles, informed by a wide range of education scholars and practitioners. These principles offer a vibrant framework for our retreat and a compass for education leaders as they navigate the challenges of leading with a strong combination of savvy skills and wholehearted presence. Please join us to expand your leadership capacity, to reconnect with the larger purposes of your work, and to gain renewed clarity and inspiration. Visit our website for more details and the registration link. “Often, I feel like I am only surviving in my professional life. It was fantastic to have the time to reflect and think of all the things I do well as a leader and as a person. I am already leading differently as a result of Wild Leadership.” –Ivonne Orozco, 2018 NM Teacher of the Year |
