The 47th Annual NABE Conference
Resisting Inequity: Language as Power and Right
 
The theme for this year’s conference is “Resisting Inequity: Language as Power and Right”. Along with internationally renowned keynote and featured speakers, there will also be other special presentations from experts and over 300 concurrent sessions. Participants will also be able to sign up for visits to local schools that are implementing successful bilingual education programs. In addition to the concurrent sessions, there will be a product exhibition. Students, teachers, advocates, and elected officials will be recognized for their efforts to promote the importance of bilingualism and biliteracy.

In addition, NABE has partnered with the National Council of State Title III Directors and they will be hosting their annual meeting on the NABE pre-conference day, Wednesday, February 28th, 2018. Join SEA, LEA, and EL Advocates for a day of collaboration and coordination supporting our English Learners. Come hear: Drs. Thomas and Collier, USED-Office of State Support, USED-Office of English Language Acquisition, and Parent Involvement Advocates.
